Hello there! I'm Hazel Greenwood and for the longest time I've wanted to be a writer. I have never fully embraced it however, I usually spend too much time world-building and plot making, get halfway through chapter two and stop. I've published nothing anywhere and never finished actually writing something, not even a short story.
I've decided to finally go ahead however and work hard to actually finish some things now. I'll be using this blog to post some small, finished writing exercises and I am currently 5000 words deep on my first draft of my debut novel that I am trying my very best to finish the first draft of so that I can then proof-read and edit to send to beta readers for feedback.
I have been very inspired since I discovered Sarah J. Maas in the past few years, and I'm sure many of you other writers out there are as well. I also thoroughly enjoyed A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair and A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forrest which have both really added to my inspiration this year.
